All About the Community Dog Park

The community dog park provides a safe, fenced space where resident dogs can exercise, play, and socialize off-leash. Please help keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone by following these guidelines. 

Using the Dog Park:

• The dog park is for the exclusive use of Atkinson Heights residents. 
• Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and healthy. 
• Please leash your dog and latch the gate when entering and leaving the dog park.
• Keep the park clean and remove any toys or personal items before you leave. 

Dog Park Etiquette: 

• Always keep your dog in sight and under control. Never leave your dog unattended. 
• Remove any training collars (choke, prong, pinch, shock, or spike collars) before entering. 
• A maximum of two dogs per household is permitted per visit. 
• Fill in any holes your dog digs. 
• Always clean up after your dog. Waste bags and a disposal station are available inside the park. 

Restrictions: 

• Puppies under 4 months of age and dogs in heat are not permitted. 
• Only dogs are allowed in the dog park. 
• Commercial dog training or walking is not permitted unless approved by the Board.
