All About the Community Dog Park
Dog Park General Guidelines
The community dog park provides a safe, fenced space where resident dogs can exercise, play, and socialize off-leash. Please help keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone by following these guidelines.
Using the Dog Park:
- The dog park is for the exclusive use of Atkinson Heights residents.
- Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and healthy.
- Please leash your dog and latch the gate when entering and leaving the dog park.
- Keep the park clean and remove any toys or personal items before you leave.
Dog Park Etiquette:
- Always keep your dog in sight and under control. Never leave your dog unattended.
- Remove any training collars (choke, prong, pinch, shock, or spike collars) before entering.
- A maximum of two dogs per household is permitted per visit.
- Fill in any holes your dog digs.
- Always clean up after your dog. Waste bags and a disposal station are available inside the park.
Restrictions:
- Puppies under 4 months of age and dogs in heat are not permitted.
- Only dogs are allowed in the dog park.
- Commercial dog training or walking is not permitted unless approved by the Board.
