Unit Alarms will not sound the common area alarm until such time the smoke or C02 reaches the common area detectors. Or such time as a sprinkler goes off in your unit.
In case of NON-EMERGENT Alarm activation, try airing the system out, open a window or turn fan in unit on. If the alarm persists, call Lewis Builders Emergency Line.
In case of Emergency, evacuate unit be sure not to use elevator, exit though stairwells ONLY. If there is a fire, Pull fire alarm handle at stairwell entrances. These are located on every floor at the stairwell entrance. Call 911 if applicable.
Incase of Fire Alarm in the building, horn will sound in unit bedrooms, you should evacuate.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove an alarm's back cover. Back cover removal will void the warranty.
