How to Care for Your Cabinets

Kemper Cabinets - Care and Maintenance

Maintaining your Kemper kitchen and bathroom cabinets is simple! Dust them periodically and clean them using a soft, lint-free or microfiber cloth and warm water.

Fighting Grime:

  • Start with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth with warm water.

  • For extra grime-fighting, use a solution of 5% dishwashing liquid and 95% warm water.
  • After cleaning, make sure the area is completely dry with a clean cloth.

Splatters & Spills:

  • Wipe them up as quickly as possible.
  • Clean with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water.
  • After cleaning, make sure the area is completely dry with a clean cloth.

Glass Doors:

  • Clean the glass using an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft cloth or paper towel.
  • Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the glass, as it may seep behind the dividers.

Products to Avoid:

  • Harsh detergents, strong soaps, multipurpose cleaners, and abrasive cleaning products
  • Abrasive sponges or dishcloths
  • Solvent-based or petroleum-based products, such as mineral spirits, nail polish remover, or paint thinner
  • Cleaning products that contain ammonia or bleach.
  • Silicone-based cleaning, waxing, or polishing products
