Cleaning the first floor and bathroom flooring
Hard Surface Flooring – LVT Care Instructions
The flooring on the first floor of your home and all the bathrooms are a Luxury Vinyl Tile product. The care of this product is very simple and is located below. It is very important that you do not attempt to buff, scrub or clean this flooring with any type of cleaner or chemical. Typically, a damp mop or cloth is enough. If needed, only commercial LVT Cleaners may be used according to package instructions.
Daily / Regular Maintenance
- Sweep, dust mop or vacuum the floor daily to remove dust, dirt, grit and debris that can damage the floor and become ground into the surface.
- Spot mop as needed. Any spills should be cleaned up immediately.
- Damp mopping of the floor should be performed on a regular or as needed basis, depending upon traffic and soil levels in the area. Use only commercial LVT cleaner.
